It is one of the top 10 attractions in El Paso County and the state of Colorado. You can enjoy privacy and natural beauty in this area. You have exceptional stream of wild-life visitors. Frequently deer will be found relaxed and grazing as they gently feed on brush, bushes and wild berries.

The Air Force Academy Mission is to educate, train and inspire men and women to become officers of character, motivated to lead the United States Air Force in service to our nation. The Academy sign "BRING ME MEN" was removed in 2003

I would like to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of context. If the opponents of the Bring Me Men sign would step a little closer to the ramp over which it hangs, they would see text from the Samuel Walter Foss poem that begins with those three words:

Bring me men to match my mountains,
Bring me men to match my plains;
Men with empires in their purpose
And new eras in their brains.

Look at the picture. Notice the magnificent Academy Chapel in the background. Then notice how the front range of the Rocky Mountains towers above it, far beyond the camera's scope. This is a call for those who enter the Academy to strive all their lives to match those mountains.
